damn, ive had the idea to do this but didn't have the time, nice to know that im not the only one. three suggestions:
if you've used webpack or any of its friends before then you can implement some frameworks like svelte pretty easily, which allows for loops and better code generation (see the docs, its pretty nifty), and it definitely is possible because they have a REPL on their webbed site
i have not tested it (because i am 400km away from the nearest IDE i can use without a touchscreen), but im 99% sure that you can polyfill some media queries with a bit of fucked up flexbox code
also you could make some kind of library and expand this with the fucked up stuff we do here like @blackle's sliding fuckery or my AJAX and animations for easy usage
if you dont have the time/knowledge/whatever to do that, id gladly make a fork/PR to implement this when im back home in a few days!
Awesome tool! Definetively bookmarking this :)
Also, this is really really minor, but in dark mode, the text in the header remains black (when the background is black too). Noticed that on chrome but i checked on firefox and it does the same thing. But again, really minor detail
oh i think nobody pointed this out yet but you can implement @keyframes, @media and @font-face at least partially. you can get @keyframes if you wrap them into an SVG. it isnt interactive anymore then but at least you have keyframes. also, @font-face can also be achieved with SVGs. its a common practice to inline fonts into SVG to optimize them (from what ive seen), or you could go completely nuts and replace every word/letter with an SVG, but that should be possible. advanced media queries are pretty much impossible but viewport already works lol
