After 10 weeks of course has passed like a wind. My original idea of what I’ll get now faced a reality. I wanted a complete or at least outlined business plan. As a matter of fact I only get a bit closer to the idea of what I should do to make it real. The most valuable outcome, from my point of view, are more structured thoughts about my idea, about required scope of work. A lot must be done before I’ll write a single line of code. The experience of pitching my idea is another important aspect. That helped me to get a much clearer understanding of how the final product will look like. Still many white spots to fill in that map. But one day I will be there.

Yesterday was second class for Start your own business course. For me it’s a non stop reevaluation of my idea. Everyone in my class have a certain precise target while I unable to communicate my idea clearly. Not because of bad communication skills but because I am floating in that vague cloud that should be a sharp point instead. It’s like testing my idea against somebody’s experience. That somebody keeps asking me questions I cannot answer. And something that was my idea changes it’s form and I see it growing in something that may be an enterprise one day

Hi all. I started this page just as alternative to my twitter account. However this is not a mirror for it. I want to have a place to vent about my current things without the limit of 140 chars.
The topics you could expect here are:

  • dogs (I own 3 Scottish terriers)
  • Ireland (I live there)
  • software development (I work as iOS dev)
  • entrepreneurship (I want to start a company)
  • art of different nature (music, movies, drawings and paintings)
  • hobbies (earlier this year I joined local Viking reenactment group, I’m making a clothing for that period in my free time)
Welcome. If you’re interested in something like that - drop a comment. Let’s talk
