- Parasite Eve: immaculate. Perfect. Love it. A brilliant fusion of survival horror and jrpg.
- Parasite Eve 2: They followed up an A+ with a C. This game makes me feel nothing. I don't like it and I don't hate it. It simply exists.
- The Misadventures of Tron Bonne: Very charming. Very fun.
- Ghost in the Shell: A genuinely great arcade game about driving a spider robot tank. Satisfying difficulty. Uses 3d spaces in surprising and clever ways. Fully animated cutscenes. Your fuchikoma makes a :3 face. This is one of the games of all time.
- Super Metroid: Deserves its reputation. No wonder people have been playing this for 30 years. Foundational for a reason. Everyone should read dragonball and play super metroid.
- The Bouncer: A 6/10 game that is so idiosyncratic it could be somebody's 10/10. I'm not that person but it's so itself that I can't dislike it.
i want MercurySteam to remake Super Metroid but by and large all i want them to do is "make it look like Dread and revise the environments slightly so that ledge grabbing is useful but doesn't completely break the game"
i mean i am perfectly happy with Super Metroid the way it is, i just really really like the ledge grabbing that became part of the standard kit in Zero Mission
