don't knock the value of sheer novelty, either
after realizing that Clip Studio Paint is probably the last piece of software i use on a regular basis tethering me to the Windows ecosystem i decided to try and get back into Krita again
i nearly bounced off of it when i learned i don't get a full-blown eraser tool keyboard shortcut like i do in CSP (or Aseprite, or GIMP, or yes, even fucking Photoshop), that "E" just inverts my current brush into an eraser, and then i happened to right-click on the canvas by accident
the one-stop brush/palette/zoom/rotate was like a goddamn revelation
