I get excited that people are trying out these wonderful creatures...
but half the time I check closer and find out the artist doesn't know how their feet work.
their feet are hands. they are always hands.* they have thumbs pointing in towards the center of the body! they are usable the same way the hands on their arms are, and look basically identical to them.
don't draw them with birdfeet, and don't draw them with the thumbs missing, please. removing the handiness of the hand-feet makes them so much less capable of mischief.
* okay it's possible for them to have feet that are a different shape, because they're a high mutation rate kind of critter, but that'd be a very sad kind of mutation. let them have four hands!
