my good friend wires & her girlfriend hannah are two disabled trans women in philly facing some massive expenses related to moving, simultaneous rent on multiple places, medical bills, and other financial needs. both are struggling with long covid and only one source of income.

wires has been one of my closest friends here in philly, an extremely generous woman, she's helped me out a lot during periods of unemployment by giving me catsitting jobs as well as the immeasurably valuable gift of friendship in the world as it is. youve probably read some of her poetry, as shes an incredible writer with two books coming out in the next several years. if you've got anything to share, please send it her way ♥️ please share with whomever wherever you can too (tweet to boost in comments)

Long story short: I'm unemployed and will not, unlike what I originally thought, qualify for unemployment benefits.

If you would like additional context as to why I'm unemployed, I am happy to provide, but basically I got fired from my literal dream job because the company went through restructuring (and the new hospitality manager decided it would be nice to bring in all her friends from her previous job and man I can't wait to watch that place burn). I brought this post over from Tumblr because that place is a total shitshow right now, lol. I'm suffering a sickness with no medicine the past two weeks, applied for over 150 jobs in the past 3 weeks, am disabled/queer/nonbinary/tired of ebegging. I'm also now out of food, food stamps, and cat food, and I just. really need some fcking help.

$80 - some essentials, cold medicine, cat food

I was only able to get this far thansk to a couple of very generous friends but I am not quite in the clear yet. I would really like to have some relief to this sickness and I am actively interviewing and am probably going to accept a job doing delivery work tomorrow.
