the-where-to-find-me-post
in light of the news, i guess i'll post my links...
✨ the best places*
• bluesky - i'm very active there. i've been basically 90% cohost/bluesky for the last year. i've managed to carve out a nice corner there for myself that does not feel like twitter, despite it being Twitter 2.
• mastodon - trying it out again!
• ko-fi - a cool way to support me. you don't have to pay to follow. i make free posts and un-wall old paywalled ones periodically.
• itch.io - follow me there if you want itch to email you when i update my visual novels or accidentally make a new one in a single month again or something.
• toyhouse - this one's niche but if you like my OC Content and have a toyhouse account, that's there.
• tumblr - i'm there. guess... i'll have to be more active there again? 🫠 i don't use it much but i do tend to post my major shop updates and finished/polished art. idk maybe
• etsy - if you have an account, you can follow me there... for capitalism.
• mailing list - if you want to (very occasionally) hear from me via e-mail. PLEASE check your spam folder regularly for meeeeee
*as in the ones where i post most consistently i guess. cohost was the true best place
🤔 i'm trying these out
• dreamwidth - i've always wanted to be there more. livejournal was a big part of my early online existence and i've always missed it.
• pillowfort - this is The Other Tumblr-Like so... i'm there. i had a series of failures to be active on PF and i don't know if i'll manage but i'm giving it the ol' college try.
📰 RSS options
• bluesky - https://bsky.app/profile/doodlemancy.com/rss
i never shut up there. if you'd like to pare it down a little to mostly just my art and VN stuff, you could maaaaaybe regex it to only pick up my commonly used tags: #doodlemancyart, #ocart, #artistsonbluesky, #potionstandstory, and #ironcompany.
• dreamwidth - https://doodlemancy.dreamwidth.org/data/rss
this is where i'm trying to move most of my more longform rambling. we'll see how it shakes out. i like it there, but i'm fickle and so is the internet.
🔗 somehow there are more links
you can also go to my website and there's a big list of every social media i'm on.
i don't expect everyone who follows me here to re-follow me elsewhere, obviously. but my suggestion, if you want to keep track of me, is that you follow me everywhere you can, because i tend to bounce around. unfortunately, since my only income is from selling my wares online, the hustle demands that i give high priority to sites that get me paid. (thank you, by the way, cohost customers. i flourished here. it meant a lot.)
man
this... really sucks! i'm struggling to find the words to express it. i liked it a lot here. saw a lot of neat things. learned some cool stuff. just had a nice chill time. and, to be completely honest, this was where a lot of my etsy orders were coming from, so... i'm a little scared now. having to make money as a disabled artist on the internet is. you know. it's. sigh. ugh.
there was so much more i wanted to do here. i really hoped i'd get to share more Iron Company stuff here, now that i'm really picking up steam on that project. if you're interested in that specifically, i guess let me know where you'd like to see me post more about that in the future. this was where the primary audience was.
thank you for being here with me. i love you, cohost. 🖤
