yknow, not too long ago i was thinking about how much i wanted to loredump about grey sessions, but couldnt because im planning on releasing the first chapters at least in the next couple years. i dont like spoiling things, especially the seemingly final forms of my own projects. i dont have much of a problem spoiling other projects because those will undoubtedly evolve and change into something entirely different by the time i end up releasing them.
and then i realized i could either talk about what the story was before the recent total revival and overhaul or introduce the characters as they currently are without giving much spoilery information. i think those two are pretty fun post ideas, especially the former, but thats for later. i'll be trying to include brief character introductions in the first post i make with new characters from now on.

heres val (or v for... even shorter?)
shes a borzoi, though i admit going into this design four-ish years ago i wasnt thinking of specific animals or breeds for a lot of the designs i was making. during the overhaul, i realized i had no idea what breed of dog she is, so i just went with calling her a borzoi because of her long schnoz and hair. the ear shape says otherwise, so, for consistency purposes, im just going to explain that away by saying her ears were cropped and splinted like a dobermanns.
shes 29 and owns a bar with her wife and a friend. she usually works as the bartender in said bar. i should clarify, the bar in this context is moreso similar to a tavern in fantasy settings like dnd. they serve drinks primarily, but also sell food and have rooms to stay in. they also do some sketch business practices (like favours) just like dnd!!!!! wow!!!! she also lives in the bar!!!!!
anyways, personality-wise shes short tempered and sucks ass at trusting new people. shes quite cool when shes familiar with someone though.
im pretty sure its not good to shave the hair of borzois, but oh well. she trims her hair anyway, thats why she has such a short coat on most of her body.
