fun fact: during the 1980s, my dad won three different Bob Dylan impersonation contests on both coasts of the U.S.! one of his prizes at some point was a few hours of studio time, which he and his friends used not to record one of their own myriad singles,1 but a gag 45 as "Bob and the Dylantones" with covers of White Christmas and Smokey Robinson's "The Tracks of My Tears." this track eventually ended up on a foreign bootleg because someone apparently thought it was actually a rare Dylan single.
