this is a bad take because Earth's natural supply of stupider was already running out at the turn of the century but i guess OP would rather bleed every stupider vein left in the world dry than invest in the space program. my uncle died of stupid lung after decades as a stupider miner under lake michigan and he always said if they had waited any longer to shut the mine down it's likely the whole of chicago would have collapsed into the thinkhole. It's entirely possible to invest in clean fuels like "knowledge" without doing blatant greenwashing by nitpicking the gender politics of the hugely successful Jovian Stupider Commission
