Image Text: "a clever subversion of the medium," aka ctrl+shift+T #6
a lot of our favorite parts of the things we love are flawed, inherently
little things that keep us from acknowledging they were ever part of us
i think that's sad
doesn't it seem a death?
of perspective, of ideals, of what we owe to each other?
it's not my place to say
escapist fantasy isn't just about implicating oneself in a different, fantastical world (although it can be)
context is everything
i don't think the importance of context can be truly ever understated
i worry a lot about whether or not people can understand me
or at least get close enough as to where the approximation in itself is moot
but on the other hand, being known is also its own perfidious, sucky bag of marbles
a thousand ball bearings littering the floor, a sophomoric minefield and no thoughtful gastronomy in sight
in the end, you just kind of have to...
take me at face value?
it's scary. i'm alone. i understand. i'm scared. YOU DON'T FUCK WITH US.
XKCD Alt Text: You don't fuck with Menards.
original art by Tim Buckley. am i allowed to do this? it's like a meme right? oh well, if i get cease and desisted, i get cease and desisted--
