I've been doing a streaming project where I check out a whole bunch of obscure PS1 games. My plan is to cap the list at 101 games, and I have been looking around to fill the last few entries, but every time I start looking, there are still more games I've never heard of that look interesting.
I especially want to shout out this Youtube channel I just found, with a bunch of full playthroughs of interesting-looking PS1 games, which motivated me to post about it. Kudos to this person:
Here are some games I found there that I hadn't seen before:
Click Medic
By Game Freak so you'd think it's more well known. You're a doctor and have to diagnose your patients and then fight their illness with some kind of strategy battle system?
Bakuryuu
Looks like a more fleshed out Wild Boater (a very simple but fun PS1 kayak game I played)
Techno BB
Some kind of rhythm puzzle game? Seems fairly inscrutable.
Hugo: Frog Fighter
This game isn't even Japanese but it baffles me all the same. A kind of more complex Frogger with Hugo.
Marby Baby Story
Some kind of maze action game with a horrible baby. Must be a straight-to-budget title, reminds me a lot of Mawatte Mucho.
Missland 2
A spot-the-difference game with really nice animations.
Rhythm 'n' Face 2
Yeah I'm not sure what's going on here, some kind of rhythm game, and I guess you're drawing something?
