Moodboard for an imaginary game

In January 2023 every day I made a room with a robot in it, and maybe wrote a little program for the robot in the room. This was also mixed in with rules, lore and rechosted inspirations. Nowadays this is just posts that evoke a particular feeling. Probably like 80% rechosts from @randochrontendo

part of Santa's Labyrinth, a #Dungeon32 thing

Here the larger robot is broadcasting a request for negotiation, complete with protocol and topic specification header. It will interact as if it had made contact with any party responding to its broadcast.

The smaller robot can advance through the space (perhaps using a depth-first search of the platform) until it hears the broadcast, and then stop, respond (after establishing a connection) with BID "Robocop" (1987). The tall robot must ACCEPT the bid because it has the token, and the actual VHS copy of "Robocop". The small robot will then be able to use the token and they can watch the movie together. I wonder if they will enjoy the satire or if they're just expecting gritty robot-vs-robot action.

Yeah! This is a really fun idea! I’ll need to come up with a protocol for it, and I’m a little worried that the really crunchy tech-doc style posts might be polluting the #Dungeon23 hashtag if i do too many of them - maybe if the analysis itself was amusing in some way…

There aren't that many (sadly) people doing dungeon23 on cohost as I'd liked so I think you'd be fine in terms of space. If you wish you can hide the major part under forced break (--- with a line break before and after). But overall your posts are rather inspirational. Even if I am not much into coding, I like imagining robots doing various things in a dungeon, so please, don't think it doesn't belong or anything like that.

You are not impostor, don't worry that you are. Dungeon23 is especially about creativity in any form. Little robots, watercolour doodles, hexes, scenes, heck, one can do Dungeon 23 which is entirely a linear train full of sentient star oozes discussing different philosophies, and it still will be fine. People can knit macrame dungeons if they want, and it still will be D23. Cheers! (without implying any pressure or obligation), please make more robots doing various activities.

(I was having same kind of emotion about my own creations, so I am understanding the doubt well)
