Family comedy. Through accidents of circumstance an ordinary 11 year old becomes the CEO of a multinational toy company and must defend it from the machinations of a greedy executive and his band of bumbling mercenaries. Most of the movie involves the young hero deploying and controlling a variety of automated and remote-control toys to bedevil the mercenaries as they ascend the corporate office tower. Some of the tricks and traps are clever and funny, but some just seem cruel; besides, we’ve seen this sort of thing before, and when the pratfalls are over the movie lacks any sort of real heart.
