First art of the year, and first proper fullbody non-traced piece we've done of this unit! Incorporating the proportion changes and addition of a mane this unit spoke of yesterday, but not a tongue. It will have one, but how is yet to be determined.
Overall, quite happy with this. The linework is a little wonky by our normal standards, but it didn't have the spoons to do better. Faces continue to be hard. The intent was not to make a pissed off UMBRA, but it looks a little like thatāit's probably not that annoyed, since it remains neutral cyan rather then angry red or sad blue.
Looking at this, the answer of how to connect the mane to this unit's head is pretty apparent: It connects to the back of this unit's head. Not quite like a real aardwolf, but it works with this unit's generally cartoonish proportions.
In the spirit of posting greatest hits, this is probably our favourite drawing we've done. It really helped solidify UMBRA's self-image. I mean, its commentary there isn't so glowing, but it kind of grew on it. The meaning of the successes is so much greater than that of its shortcomings.
