I know right? Gonna admit and say I don't really like the blobby design of the 00s, and the '99 model looks way better imo
They're the same machine basically, but I'm a sucker for the blockier designs of the 80s and mid 90s... Whilst we're at it. The MZR37 is probably the best looking md Walkman I've seen so far
Yeah, the blobject movement had some positive elements, but even when it was a bit bad, it was so nice to see so many different approaches and styles, unlike now where everything is a shiny black rectangle,
I do like that '99 model, and I think I'm just a sucker for old LCD displays too. The MZR looks amazing. My walkman was one of these, the WM-11
