several geniuses, across the world: you know, this little edible bag full of stuffings is good but what if we cooked it fully immersed in this oily stuff we got from squeezing these nuts and/or seeds?
genuinely one of my favorite icebreakers, especially in groups of people with a lot of different food traditions, is "please describe your favorite form of 'tasty filling in dough'"

This is a coxinha, stewed chicken wrapped in a thick layer of potato-based dough, breaded and fried. What if chicken and mashed potatoes was a finger food. But its true final form is the coxa creme – same idea, but with a layer of bechamel sauce or runny cheese wrapping a whole ass chicken thigh.
