video does work! just reencode it as AVIF, export it as a AVIFS file, rename it into foo.avif, upload it and you can embed it as an image lol
it doesn't seem to be supported in anything but the newest chromes? 😔
according to caniuse it has pretty wide support (except for safari, edge and ie. the unholy trinity)
the firefox note is that it's only stills and i am sadly a firefox-only dweeb still
oh yep just noticed that. god firefox would be such a good browser if it just implemented more stuff. looking at you, (proper) fs api, (proper) pwas, transitions, file assocations, (proper) avif etc.
