I dreamt that I had a headmate who was a good friend and a clever detective. It felt very natural in spite of the fact that I'm not plural in real life, as far as I know. She also had a Japanese name because I watch too much anime, which still feels appropriative for something born of my psyche.
I'm not sure if my subconscious is trying to give me a heads up about something, or if it's just dreams being nonsensical like I rationally know they are. Probably? I'm a teensy bit spiritual.
Also present were some scenes to remind me that my biggest conventional fear is malevolent spirits, though as far as I know, I've never come across any. I think it's their ability to defy the laws of the corporeal world in unpredictable ways that feels really threatening.
