i went and poked in the comments of the update post where it'd been mentioned to see if they'd acknowledged it yet then i remembered it was saturday

im not saying this to snipe or anything, to be clear, i just forgot what day of the week it was when i was like "i haven't seen any talk about this on their part yet, i wonder wh-oh right"

* given that images stopped working right at just about the time Staff foretold that images would no longer work in asks, this is my working belief. there is a bug report here
