these lil bird critters always seemed so Other and cool to me as a kid and their name is both fun to say and impressive to spell.

also I was OBSESSED with and mildly creeped out by "Strange and Ancient Song" by the Bergman Haywire Ensemble:

its a member if the Phorusrhacidae family, a group commonly known as terror birds. they are thought to have been ground predators or scavengers since they were flightless. the only evidence of them is a partial skeleton and a couple of single bones, but the estimated average height was about1.4 meters(about 4'6") and an average weight of about 40 kilograms(about 88 pounds). these things are Basically Chocobos, But they are more likely to kill you, while actual Chocobos have a tendency to be less hostile even in the wild according to their lore. that being said, Chocobos are one of my fave fictional aminals, so Andalgalornis is my Real world fave bird, even if its extinct.

Edit: Forgot the picture.

Mine is Tyrannosaurus rex and I absolutely don't care if that's basic, the classics are classics for a reason. It's big and strong and chompy and cool and it's got the weird little arms and the gigantic head and the super beefy legs and tail and to me it is perfect.

Just a chunky guy. A fella. Tiny brain, no thoughts. Big ol' club. One of the likely featherless dinosaurs. We're still not entirely sure how the probably looked. Look at that face. They don't have a care. They aren't worried about taxes, or the price of textiles. Just an ideal dino for a Jeb.
