I've been realizing lately how much of my heavy social media usage was attention bidding to get little drops of serotonin from interacting with people, and how that really was a drug that kept you doomscrolling and clicking all day.
I've gotten heavily into writing fanfic (mostly RWBY, some G Witch, thinking about Otherside Picnic and maybe even original material), and like... being actively creative, even in a field that parts of me still struggle to accept as reasonable adult activities (which is ridiculous, like my other major hobbies are playing TTRPGs and painting little plastic monsters for fuck's sake) makes me so much happier! But now I feel like I'm ditching some of my actual friends, and at the same time I'm stuck in the trap of really wanting feedback and validation on my creative works, which I generally have much more time to produce than other people have time to review.
I guess my point is that if you'd like to beta read RWBY fanfic, or don't care too much about the details of the characters and setting and just want some sapphic yearning and/or mermaid smut, hit me up for links.
