I have no idea what I'm doing with it, but I recorded a sample of me saying "worm" and that was fun!
I might need to get an amp cause my attempts to record it on my computer just end up being super quiet. When I figure that out, then I can inflict my music (or whatever you call what I'd make) on other people. >:3

how are you recording it on your computer? you probably don't need an amp but maybe an interface or mixer to give it a little gain boost
literally just using the mic jack on my computer, so whatever sound device is on my motherboard. having something more tailored for the task makes sense.
yeah look into a simple 2x2 usb interface with a gain knob for the input channels. it'll be probably $30-$40.
