A lot of my friends are trans women, but it's not because I try to avoid being friends with cis people. The reality is, trans women are disproportionately willing to put time and energy into getting to know me, compared to other groups
also theyre more into shitposting which is how i made most of my current friends tbh
i have at least three friends i made from shitposting who transitioned after meeting me
I wonder now how much this factors into us (relatively) older critters who transitioned in the late 2010s, only to realize all our longtime friends were doing it with us.
I think trans people are sometimes drawn to each other even before they consciously realize they're trans
