It's the first of the month, and that means it's time for a new article! This month, we take a look at the Sega Game Library, a download service for the Mega Drive that operated between 1990 and 1992 in Japan, with a library of 39 games including music apps, ports of arcade games and original games, all scrunched down to be reasonably downloaded in the '90s.
I got inspired to do this one by Korone Inugami's playthrough of Shi no Meikyū / Fatal Labyrinth as it's one of the best games available for the service, and while I normally don't do big lists of games like this, there's plenty of interesting things here that I wanted to show 'em off. If nothing else, I hope this artcle gets people to play Fatal Labyrinth, it rules.
Obviously, I didn't time-travel for this one so there's a lot of external links, in particular this playlist by kukun kun and this thread on the Sonic & Sega Retro Forums were instrumental for getting the history portions of this one sorted, so please visit them!
