Before this site goes away for good, I've always wondered - you once did a video talking about fight scenes from season 1 of Preacher. Only a few months ago I watched the whole show and loved it, and I was curious if you ever finished it, and if so, what your overall thoughts on it were?
oh hey, i have a real soft spot for that video! i think my scene analysis holds up pretty well for something i made that long ago.
a couple years ago i sat with a friend and watched through most of preacher. i remember liking season 2 well enough, and generally being invested in wherever the hell the show was going. but season 3 lost me with the kid in hell making friends with hitler. i think i got through three episodes with that development before just sorta quietly falling off. i'm sure the rest of the show is pretty good, and i wouldn't even be surprised if the hitler plot has a good payoff. but the whole setup was just a bit too edgelordy for me and my friend to stomach. i will probably get through the whole thing someday because i liked more of that show than i didn't, but... probably not while watching with another person lmao
