This is a story about people using each other, mutually, because they can’t be with the ones they love. It is dark, but in a humane and familiar way. Psychological, lots of interiority, foreground-foreward illustrations, and intense interpersonal drama. It reminded me of parts of being in high school and in love I have not thought about in ages. (Maybe relationships like this are uncommon?) So far it’s very good!

There’s WLW in it, but it is not playing in the yuri trope space.

I watched the anime of this recently, it's the kind of thing I couldn't recommend easily but it's so so good. I love stories that focus on this really messy, imperfect interaction between people trying to find some kind of happiness.
