putting off Shelved by Genre was the perfect thing to do, as now i have seemingly infinite length of pleasant-patter podcast available while I work on copyediting, proofreading, and filing. the patter isn't always pleasant in topic, but it's nearly perfectly pleasant in tone, and it's great because since I don't know anything about this book (or series) and have no need to know anything about it, i can lose focus on it and keep focus on work and lose nothing of the experience

I intentionally listen to Shelved by Genre in little chunks so they string along until the next episode comes out. It's the only English-language podcast I listen to anymore. It's so good!
I’m really enjoying this podcast! The patter is indeed very good. I’ve been trying to keep up with the reading but sadly I’ve fallen behind the latest episode.
