LOVELY! - My Adorable Mamecchi is a cute LN about two friends, one deeply in love with the other. Our protagonist's unrequited love is mirrored in her friend with benefits, who also has a one-sided secret crush on her best friend. The two cope with each other. Everyone is an adorable idiot except Saya, the FWB. It starts off seeming trope-y and silly, which it remains, but goes to some interesting places and has some nuance that I wasn't expecting in something so fluffy. I was also not expecting how far it goes, presenting all-ages at the beginning to quite R18 in the end. A charming, quick read if you can tolerate the awful presentation MangaPlanet insists on.

If you get a Manga Planet subscription I would also recommend the "super light" novels "Sasayaki no Kiss - Read My Lips" (schoolgirl yuri with deaf characters, including a great side couple) and "Yurizen! Salon - Shirayuri’s Comforting Food Therapy" (adult yuri with Chinese herbal remedies and recipes).
