following up on my previous zelda post, i’ve been playing skyward sword on and off and man, i really, really don’t like it. there’s some things that are cool; the art style i like a lot and it has a ton of charm (hard not to compare it to wind waker on those counts but every video game ends up as the coughing baby in the comparison so not really fair to find fault).
but man everything else? not vibing with it at all. mostly it feels like it was the compromises necessitated by the wii that are the root cause of the issues.
also i gotta be real, i hate fi so much. fi please shut the fuck up. genuinely just worse navi. pining for midna.
i’ll probably finish it, but i reckon it’ll take me a while as i put it down and pick up other things.
