it was awesome. I really love fizzy drinks so having as much as I wanted on demand was great. The machine was simple to use and gave consistent results. It would sometimes leak water during carbonation, however. The CO2 canisters are kind of annoying. You either have to find a place that exchanges them or do exchanges by mail. But it's still much preferred compared to buying a ton of seltzer and recycling the bottles. I am probably gonna try DrinkMate next and see if that works any better. It can carbonate any beverage, not just water like Sodastream.
