using the Internet Archive's "Search text contents" function to search for every DVD camcorder that can inexplicably "unfinalize" a burned DVD-RW without formatting the entire disc. it just undoes the finalization and you can continue recording on it if there's space

yes I am rewatching Cathode Ray Dude's Disc Camcorder video. he couldn't find information on how unfinalization actually worked and I want to know so badly. you're not supposed to be able to unfinalize it!

(some of these search results are for CDs and some of these results could be for the word "unfinalized", e.g. the disc has not yet been finalized, but some camcorders can actually undo the finalization on a DVD-RW somehow without formatting it)
