I love how Obsidian takes a similar approach to VS Code in terms of extensions/plugins, though I find Obsidian usable already without them unlike VS Code. But being able to massively augment the behavior and capabilities of Obsidian is awesome. Its API is really powerful. And most of the extensions work on all platforms too! I just installed an extension that automatically opens up a specific page as your homepage when you start Obsidian. I set it to a Kanban board (provided by another extension) so that I don’t forget it exists.
