just finished the second anime in the last few weeks that's based on a light novel that was also just licensed a couple of years ago despite the light novel existing for 10 years so there are only like 2 of the novels translated to English and this is why I need to go back to learning Japanese. Fan translations seem much spottier and more difficult to find compared to manga too.
