i got an extension on rent to the 15th and that's tomorrow. i had honestly hoped to have been paid for the laptops i repaired months and months ago, or to have another income source. i'd started working on another video before i realized i wouldn't have time before risking eviction

so, that's why i spent the past couple days fervently finishing part 2 of the trevor project reporting. i legitimately know i ask on here too often. that other people in worse situations than me need it more. so go help them if you can, please.

i did the work to feel like i had some kind of justification. hell, maybe excuse. ads and paywalls for reporting like that is gross and i'm remiss doing so if i ever, finally, get hired to write somewhere Professional which is funded that way

this creator economy is broken. and no one is hiring a broken creator. so i'll keep writing and making my over-produced video essays until it either finally becomes sustainable again or i get hired somewhere with sustainability. or i don't, but that's a risk we're all always facing, that ain't unique to me
