I pick things up
I am a collector
And things, well things
They tend to accumulate
I have this net
It drags behind me
It picks up hobbies
For me to feed upon

trying out the (new-ish) Apple Music for Windows and it's a bit slow while navigating but otherwise it works okay so far. It does not seem to support air playing from my phone to my PC tho. the other problem is there's no good way to automatically scrobble to Last.fm. There are a couple of third party scrobblers out there that support Apple Music but they seem pretty buggy or are missing features I want. The official Last.fm scrobbler only supports iTunes and not the new Apple Music app for Windows. I think if I wanted to use Apple Music instead of Spotify I would need to run Apple Music on my phone (which I can get a scrobbler for) and then a third party airplay receiver on my PC. Or I can try to use iTunes on Windows u_u

Another option is to more aggressively buy music 1-2 plays after I hear them on Apple Music and then listen to them on my local player after that. I use MusicBee for this and it has Last.fm support. I mostly use streaming services to listen to music I haven't bought yet, but I've gotten lazy about buying them because streaming is so convenient, especially with Japanese music where I have to get on a VPN in order to buy music in FLAC from mora.jp.
