I pick things up
I am a collector
And things, well things
They tend to accumulate
I have this net
It drags behind me
It picks up hobbies
For me to feed upon

watching them make baskets in Ascendance of a Bookworm and I'm like, well y'know I always need boxes to organize stuff in why don't I learn how to make baskets that would be useful

The ICU care isn't helping. I'm cancelling the gofundme and returning the donations, since the additional funding will not be necessary.

Original post Our cat has been eating very poorly this past week. We hadn't been *too* concerned about it, cause he's got chronic kidney disease, and he's been having a cycle of alternating overeating-undereating for about a year (which CKD is known to cause).

But this past week he's been asking for food and then turning it down, which is new. And a couple days ago he threw up, twice, with no fur in it. Then today he started turning down even his treats. So we took him to the vet.

Turns out he lost 15% of his body weight in the last month, and his kidney function has suddenly nosedived and they want to keep him three to four days to see if aggressive fluids can help him recover. But uh... my credit will be maxed out after just 28 hours. With the help of a direct wire from a personal friend, I can cover today and tomorrow before my credit is maxed out.

Please help. Please, please help give him a fighting chance.
We should find out in the next 12-16 hours if the ICU regime is working. If it isn't, I'll cancel the gofundme and return all donations.
But if it is, $2000 will get him an extra day of critical care.

if you had a bunch of these mechanisms, like a page's worth, and then you had some way of addressing each character, like maybe some long pole that's keyed to the wheels somehow and you inserted it at the appropriate depth and then turned, you could have the mechanical equivalent of trying to enter your Wifi password into a printer, wouldn't that be fun
