Raiders of the Lost Ark Review
Raiders of the Lost Ark is still so fucking good and cool
It's like the perfect blend of Spielberg and Lucas at the perfect time. It's one of those really rare "lightning in a bottle" type movies I genuinely do not think would have worked, at least not as well, if it came out at any other point in time
It still captivates me just as much as it did when I was a kid watching it for the first time, maybe even more so
Plus, Nazis die horrifically! Their faces melt! On camera! you could get away with that sort of thing back then without an R rating!
How fucking cool is that?
