I finally figured it out
It's my gpu that's the problem, that's the thing making the unsettling grinding noise
The good news is, I finally isolated it
The bad news is, I still have to replace it
Not entirely surprising, and maybe not entirely a bad thing? I've been using it since 2017 and I've been wanting to upgrade to 4k for a few years now anyway
Probably just going to take this one to an electronic disposal facility when the day comes? It's old enough that I probably wouldn't get much for it anyway and with the problems it's having now I wouldn't feel right selling it anyways
1060s just aren't forever, I suppose
