It looks a lot worse in person, but oxidation has hit my GBA pretty hard. I could probably clean it myself, maybe, but I was considering sending it off for that since I was also considering, similarly, sending it to someone to mod a backlight in (and maybe a rechargeable battery?), kill two birds with one stone and all that
If anyone knows someone/someplace that does such repairs/mods, please let me know!
My search so far has turned out pretty fruitless. Normally I would at the very least do the cleaning myself, but I figured I may as well get everything done at once. I had also paid thought to just ordering a custom shell entirely, but I wouldn't even know where to begin with that sort of thing. My dream shell is still a little bit out of reach, but I'll hopefully have everything I need for it soon
I'll keep looking, but if anyone does such mods/repairs or knows of anyone who does, I'd really appreciate the pointers
