Considering starting a Plex Media Server, still weighing my options and deciding if it's really "worth it" or if I really need it

Anyone who knows more about this than I do (which is nothing at all), if you have...any information at all, or any pointers or pros/cons I'd really appreciate it

I'm glad "minmaxing" is a term my therapist used because it's much catchier and less wordy than "The world is stressful as fuck, life is stressful as fuck, there's no reason to add even more stress to that"

I know it's a scalding, burning, red hot take that I'm surely the first person to ever have but I really miss video rental stores, especially as digital is increasingly pushed as The Only Option, Steam only gives you two hours to decide if you like a thing or not, Nintendo flat out refuses refunds at all, and Sony only does it if you really put their ass to the fire and even that isn't a guarantee

I dunno man! I wanna try games! I just don't want to spend $60-$70 to decide if I like them or not!
