wondering how you would say "eggbug" in toki pona... the bug part is easy, that's just "pipi", but egg is harder. on wiktonary's swadesh list for toki pona it gives "sike waso" or kiwen waso" as translations, but "pipi pi sike waso" feels a bit weird. after all the bug doesn't really have much to do with birds; the egg is just referring to the shape. so you could just say "pipi sike", and while i do think that's better, i feel like it's till missing something. obviously sike can mean any round shape, but you'd usually think of a circle when hearing it, right? eggbug is more elongated/oval-like/blobby. maybe this is just me being nitpicky though. anyways, my personal preference would be "pipi (pi) sike nasa" because i personally think eggbug is a funky weird little guy!
