every time I spend slightly too long thinking about the Switch I end up so ridiculously angry over how bland it is. the Wii U and 3DS had so much personality and so many neat little apps and features and then with the Switch they went and threw it all out the window. they couldn't even give the Switch eShop a theme song

I know that hoping for the return of Miiverse or Swapnote is probably expecting too much but good lord I really hope the next Nintendo console at least has a menu screen with personality and some funny apps and functions that exist just for fun

i've spent the past 7 years thinking "surely they'll add something to customize the menu, like bring back badge arcade" and i have to accept that it's never gonna happen

I've been playing my 3DS more than my Switch the last few months. I really miss that era. I used to take my 3DS to college every day. There were people I didn't even know by face, but we would send silly short messages to each other over street pass.
