okay i unscrewed the lens and looked inside just for fun.
this camera lets you see your shot through the lens itself before you take it. which is really neat. the way it works tho is there's a mirror on the inside that reflects UP into the viewfinder, blocking the path to the film.
i carefully touched this mirror anddddd yeah it flips up out of the way to reveal the shutter, to reveal the film. problem is, it doesnt feel like there is any mechanical resistance against me flipping the mirror up out of the way.
does this fucking thing need a battery?
