I started reading a new poetry book this morning. I love Oswald’s book Dart so I felt like I needed to read more of her poems. This book is her first collection of poetry and it has a very weird-rural kind of setting. Feels very Devon to me lol which is where she’s from. There’s some great images already in the five poems I read before work:
trees like dream-wrecks
the ground was a wave and the sky wouldn’t float
All life’s ribbon frozen mid-fling
