Books, DS games, dungeon crawlers

Here’s another version of Robin Hood for children. Less pulpy than Kenney’s version, the illustrator of this Usborne book, Alan Marks, depicts Robin as a ranger/thief kind of character. It’s much less iconic I suppose but actually closer to my own imagining of Robin. And he’s made green-ness and the longbow central to the character; which are both important to my own mental image of Robin Hood. This is the book I bought for my son, who is three, but he wasn’t too interested. Happily, this morning he’s agreed to have another go lol

At three chances are it's the Disney thing that would resonate the most I feel.
It seems like a pretty cool book for kids though, hopefully he grows to like it.
