Books, DS games, dungeon crawlers

It’s a swift, fun read so far. A sort of spooky, folky adventure in the mould of the Brothers Grimm or something German like that - even though it’s actually set in Switzerland (though definitely in the German-Swiss part). There’s a cute prologue about how it’s adapted from a stage show he wrote for his secondary school pupils. I bet he was a fun teacher! Part way through, the narrative splits perspective making the pacing even more swift as the novel changes voice and action quickly!

I loved those books as a teen and need to pick them up again at some point. The other books I’ve read by him are not as “deep” I guess. More adventure-y. Clockwork is a good one which is super short too
