Like the problem is that financially the studio was in a pretty damned if you do damned if you don't state. Microsoft promised them stability and almost immediately walked back on even that.
its horrifying having grown up on amnesia fortnight to have one of the earth's most killable men be like "yeah well actually dont kill your darlings even if they are just half thought concepts because i wanna own even the potential of a good idea".
rewatching the video and oh my god this man wanted to monetize everyones other freetime pursits as well. erase this man from internet and then coat him in acid, this man has no integrity his soul is of plastic.
