Playing Baldur's Gate 3 (hey good video game) and it's wild to me there's no way to look at the leveling charts for classes without tabbing out to check a wiki? A massive part of D&D is flipping through the book and reading about all the fun toys you're gonna get in ten levels; that planning and anticipation is like a core element of the design, up there with rolling dice and battle grids. You could argue that most of the higher level abilities only exist to be anticipated (no one on earth has ever played a D&D campaign to level 20.) BG3 hides all that and instead presents the level up screen like you're opening a lootbox. Very odd.
