The music in robocop really kinda fucks up the message.

Like it ain't diagetic, not really thematic but like unquestionably heroic.

like everything else you can say satire, but like that music is John Wayne heroic western. And yanno maybe cowboy reads as detroit in the broad european understanding of america

Thats just heartwarming even tho its probably supposed to be deeply cynical.
